• Additional Recording Fee For Each Section, Quarter, Quarter-Quarter, Block, Lot, or Tract in Excess of Ten (10): $1.00
• Certification: $3.00

Gwynn Bartlett, Carbon County Clerk, is pleased to announce the completion of a digital archiving project of 58,388 county documents. The Carbon County Archive Project makes available for the first time tract indexes, marriage license books, and grantor/grantee records dating back to 1867. Click here to access these records.

We are excited to announce the information recorded in the Carbon County Clerk’s Office is now available online (click here). While this information is being offered free of charge to the user, you must have a valid user name and password from this office to access the site. Click here for the username and password application for your convenience. If you wish to take advantage of this new service, please return the completed and signed application to this office and we can get you setup.

Validated documents are uploaded to this site each night providing you with the most current information! From the site you will be able to search on various fields of information and even print copies of recorded documents. We are also currently working on a project to take older records from microfilm and have them indexed and have digital images available. After this process is complete, these records will be available on idoc as well.

Also keep in mind that this office can burn cds of documents for specified date ranges, print reports, or you are welcome to continue receiving your copies directly from the office for the fees currently charged. We will continue to strive to provide you with excellent service.
