Each polling place will be equipped with both the optical scan paper ballots used since 2000 and an electronic touchscreen. Accessible voting was mandated by the federal government to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. Therefore, we chose touchscreens to meet the requirements. The touchscreens are not limited to those with disabilities. If you choose the touchscreen, you may not use the optical paper scan ballot. You may only use one option.
