DEPUTY SHERIFF

Salary $43,320 – 47,000 yearly

The Carbon County Sheriff’s office is accepting applications
for the position of Deputy Sheriff to perform law enforcement
duties in the Medicine Bow, Elk Mountain and Hanna areas of eastern
Carbon County.

Minimum qualifications:
1. Be a citizen of the United States.
2. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
3. 21 years of age
4. Successfully complete a psychological and physical exam
5. Successfully pass a physical assessment and written exam.
6. Possess a valid driver’s license
7. Good work ethic and high moral values a must.
8. Thorough background investigation.

Preference given to applicants with current peace officer
certification and a minimum of two years patrol experience.
