Courthouse, Carbon Building & County Offices Under Limited Access

covid 19

Beginning March 20 the Courthouse, Carbon Building and county offices are under limited access per Resolution 2020-12.

To ensure the safety of our community, staff, and customers and to practice requested social distancing in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Courthouse, Carbon Building and other county offices will be closed to the public however we will be open for business through other means.  We may take appointments on a very limited and necessary basis. Most business can be done over the phone and with alternate communication methods. The time frame for doing business this way is unknown however will last at least through April 3, the same time frame as the State Health Officer’s recent order.

Options for conducting essential business:

✅ Drop Box on the South Driveway of the Courthouse
✅ Mail
✅ E-mail
✅ Telephone
✅ Some Curb Side Services
✅ Limited Appointments for Essential Services

To contact an office please refer to this contact list or view the county directly available here:  Click Here for the County Directory

In addition the board has adopted the Carbon County Pandemic Response Plan.  Please note the sick leave portion of this plan has already changed and this plan is subject to change at any time with the developing circumstances.  Click here for the plan.
